Guber S.p.A was established in 1991.
The company’s co-founders are Mr. Francesco Guarneri and Mr. Gianluigi Bertini. The Company’s initial activity in 1991 was to manage debt collection for defaulted companies during their bankruptcy proceedings and to back up such collection with the delicate and tricky activity of a prior debt assessment.

In 1994, Guber began to broaden its operating co-operation with manufacturing and business enterprises. During those years, the strong development of the markets’ needs and requirements allowed Guber to extend its offer of services in terms of territorial expansion, beginning to operate also abroad, and in terms of operating functions beginning to manage judicial debt recovery procedures.
The second half of the nineties saw the implementation by Guber of its corporate policy through a complete and proper working pattern to effectively manage all procedures of the judicial debt recovery, which is to this day a key aspect of its distinguishing expertise and strength. 

In 1998, Guber penetrated the banking market and became a highly qualified provider of services for Italian banks as well as for International Institutional Investors who are ordinary transferees of non-performing loans (NPL), even securitized ones.

In 2008, Fitch Ratings assigned to Guber CSS3+/RSS3+ ratings as Special Servicer.

Guber’s gross book value portfolio, currently under management, exceeds two billions Euros. About 60% of it originates from banking loan exposure.
