Guber is a financial broker duly registered in the appropriate Italian General Registry under article 106 of Italian Law Regulation n° 385/93 (registration n° 25983) and as such Guber is a certified entity to purchase loans. Guber purchases debts whose settlement is uncertain and/or difficult collectable debts either from commercial and residential parties or from financial and banking activities.

The debt assignment is usually done without recourse and it is previously subject to a due diligence performance in order to estimate its likely break-up value and/or the same value of an entire debt portfolio subject to a prospective disposal.
Guber is also interested in purchasing single third parties’ debt claims being part of bankruptcy assets. 

In our opinion, the counterpart choice is a key issue in terms of debt assignment. Therefore, we would like to point out that the economic estimation is not the only feature to take into consideration on such matters; other features such as the professional conduct and the good reputation are highly recommended.
